Sun is shining, air is crisp, and coffee is brewing. Starting my Tuesday off with a bowl of spiced maple oatmeal while the babe plays in his exersaucer.
I used stealcut oats, but any oats would work nicely. I added 3 chopped dates, 1 tbsp ground flax, 2 tbsp of cinnamon, 2 tsp of nutmeg, 1 tsp of cloves, 1 tsp of cardamom, and some soymilk. And finished with a healthy amount of maple syrup.
